We don’t know what is it that we want. We only know what we don’t want. So we experiment.
We do it because we can.
We don’t have anything to lose. So we experiment.
We think it will make us feel better.
We want to try new things that may take us to new places.
Life is an experiment, complete with constraints, variables – known and the unknowns.
To jump into the experimental work without doing sufficient research is like making choices in life without weighing the pros and cons of our actions. We might see the expected results if we are lucky, but if we do not (often the case) then we are left with a bunch of observations with no conclusions.
The logical thing to do is the hardest yet necessary; to repeat the experiment with either a new set of variables or a redefined constraint or both.
This is not for the tired and uninspired like myself.
